Step 1
Saute the onion in a hot pan over medium heat until shimmering. Add in some chopped garlic, but reserve a few crushed cloves. Add the peeled tomatoes, sauce, and some tomato paste. Toss in fresh herbs or use dried ones. Once tomatoes have heated, crush the peeled tomatoes with a fork or a tomato masher. Toss in remaining cloves of garlic. Continue to simmer. The longer the better. Serve whenever sauce is fully cooked.
