Apple baby pancakes
Save this for later!⬇️
Sometimes it’s hard to take a moment to sit and enjoy a meal together as a family. Life gets so busy and it can turn into a rush to get everyone fed! These pancakes can be helpful to make ahead of time and freeze for later!
You can quickly reheat in a pan for a minute or two or in the microwave for ~30 seconds.
Ingredients:
-2 tablespoons applesauce (no sugar added) or shredded apple
-1 egg
-2 tablespoons flour ( oat is preferred or any other flour you have)
-1 tablespoon water
-A pinch cinnamon
Directions:
1.Mix all the ingredients together using a whisk or fork, you can also use a blender or mixer.
2.Grease a non-stick frying pan with a couple drops of olive oil or coconut oil.
3.Once the pan is heated, pour in the batter.
When the bottom side starts to brown (1-2 minutes), flip it around and cook the other side (1-2 minutes).
Note: The pancakes should be fluffy, but slightly crispy on the outside, like an omelette.
Storage: Can be stored in the refrigerator for 1 day but it is tastier if eaten right away.
Suitable for: 6 months + as long as allergens (eggs and gluten) have been introduced.
