Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C and butter an 8" cake tin.
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until completely smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
Step 3
Mix in the baking soda and salt. Stir in the sugar, beaten (separately whisked!) egg, cinnamon, cardamom, salt, walnuts and vanilla extract.
Step 4
Mix in sieved flour making sure not to overmix.
Step 5
Pour into tin, bake for 20-25 minutes.
