Instructions

Step 1
Boil 1/2 cup water and add the chopped spinach. Let it cook for 5 minutes
Step 2
In a bowl take besan. Add turmeric, salt, red chili powder and mix.
Step 3
Slowly add 1/2 cup water to the besan mixing all the time. Mix well so that there are no lumps.
Step 4
Add this to the spinach and keep stirring on low flame till the water evaporates and the raw smell of the besan goes away.
Step 5
Heat oil in a frying pan. Add the mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add the slivered garlic and cook and they turn golden brown. Add red dried chili and cook for about a minute.
Step 6
Remove the spinach in the serving bowl and pour the garlic chili oil mixture over it.
Step 7
Stir it at the time of serving .
