Roasted Broccoli with Lemon Zest and Parmesan Cheese

Step 1
Wash and cut broccoli into bite sized pieces. Most of stem thrown out... I cut individual stems then the larger ones in 4 pieces, smaller in two, middle small ones whole. Lightly spray baking tray with olive oil spray, and arrange the broccoli evenly with cut stem sides down. Spray lightly with more olive oil so the goodness that is to come will stick better. Sprinkle lightly with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then lemon zest, then parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 for about 25-35 minutes, till lightly browned/roasted. Scrape the parmesan cheese off the pan and put it on the finished produuct. Parchment paper will make for easier cleanup. The cheese does stick.
