Step 1
1. Make tangzhong by mixing bread flour and milk in a pan

2. Then heat this mixture until thickened stirring continuously

3. Pour cold milk into tangzhong mixture, until smooth

4. Pour in the egg and yeast into the milk mixture

5. In the stand mixture add the milk mixture, bread flour, sugar and salt

6. Using the dough hook attachment to mix everything on Low for five minutes

7. Increase mixer speed to medium and start to add butter slowly

8. Knead for 12-16 minutes

10. Shape the dough and then place in an oiled bowl

11. Proof for 30-50 minutes (30C in oven)

1. Combine garlic powder and water, then add 2 cloves of grated garlic and salt

5. Roll into a large rectangle and spread 2/3 of garlic butter

6. Sprinkle cheese over buttered dough and pat the cheese

7. Fold the dough in half and then cut into strips

8. Turn the folded dough strips into knots

9. After proofing brush the remaining 1/2 garlic butter
