Step 1
Pre-heat the oven grill to its highest setting
Step 2
Place, the pear wedges in an ovenproof baking dish, sprinkle with a little brown sugar and grill for about five minutes until golden.
Step 3
Tip, the salad leaves on to a serving platter and layer the cooked pears over them. Top with the goat cheese and pecan nuts, drizzle over the olive oil and red wine vinegar or lemon juice and serve as soon as possible.
