3 INGREDIENT SPINACH FETA TURKEY BURGERS - Every time we share this in stories, we get tons of requests for the recipe…so here it is! Don’t forget to save this post! • Will your kid for sure eat this? Maybe…maybe not 🤷‍♀️ But it has been a “gateway” food for spinach for my {Megan’s} kids, and a lot of people love the feta spinach combo. Plus, kids love watching how much spinach shrinks down when you cook it - like magic! ✨😂 • These burgers are great for babies because they’re a good source of iron and a safe way to enjoy spinach. • Ingredients: 6 cups loosely packed baby spinach - you can use more or less than this 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese 1 pound ground turkey Salt, pepper and garlic • Instructions: Heat 1 T. olive or avocado oil in a large pan on medium heat. Add spinach to pan and sauté until spinach is fully cooked down. Remove spinach from heat and place in a small bowl to slightly cool. Use scissors to cut spinach into smaller pieces. In a separate medium bowl, add ground turkey and feta, then add cooked spinach. Season with salt, pepper and garlic. Stir to fully combine. Use clean hands to form 4-6 patties. Add patties back to the pan and cook about 5 minutes on each side or until the burgers are fully cooked through {internal temperature of 165F}. You can also cook these on the grill 🔥 Plate on a whole grain bun with avocado, tomato slices, condiments etc. and serve with your favorite sides! • Let us know if you try these!
