Instructions
Step 1
Add some oil to your pan and cook your diced onion until soft and brown.
Step 2
Once softened, add your garlic and cook until fragrant (1-2 mins).
Step 3
Add your flour and mix to form a sort of ‘roux’ and add your chicken stock, broccoli and grated carrot to the pan.
Step 4
Season however you like and add your heavy cream. Let this simmer for about 10 mins or until slightly thickened.
Step 5
Finally, add your cheddar cheese, stir until fully combined, serve and enjoy.
