Cajun Shrimp and Rice Skillet

I added spring onion and chives

I didn't substitute anything or add anything else. Came out quite nice, but two things I'd recommend: 1. Use less broth, my rice came out just a little overdone as is so by the time the shrimps were done they were very overdone and almost completely mush. 2. Cook the shrimp separately. I had to flip through the rice multiple times to make sure everything cooked all the way through because not all the pieces had on their own. Cooking separately will not only be easier to keep track of cooking, but will also help keep some seasoning stuck to the shrimps. As someone used to spice, it came out quite mild for me but still on the slightly salty side. So careful of that

Added frozen green beans and corn in the last 5 minutes as well.

Sautè onion with butter and add some white wine to the rice (like making risotto). Add a little of tomato paste, and cherry tomatoes. Garnish with green onions.

I added lots of veggies. I added red onions, corn, mushrooms, garlic cloves, red and green peppers, Serrano peppers, and carrots. I think it came out pretty tasty

Since the chicken broth has salt, the salt in the seasoning made the dish more salty than is preferred. Will omit the salt next time I make this.

I added smoked sausage to it! So good!

Amazing. I make my own Cajun seasoning so I used that instead. This dish was wonderful. My daughter asked for thirds. Lol.

I like to add sausage, shrimp, peas and corn. It is delish.

I sautéed some diced green bell, celery, and onion at the beginning and used my own cajun seasoning that's not spicy. It tasted great! Shrimp was perfectly cooked.

Less spice. Grill the shrimp on George Forman next time.

1/2 the spice if you have littles who may not handle the heat. Otherwise, it was fantastic!

We don’t keep shrimp on hand, but I do keep kiolbassa or smoked sausage in our freezer so I will just substitute it. I like it a bit more than the shrimp. I also add a little bit more chicken broth so it isn’t dry.

Used Slap Ya Mama spice blend plus garlic powder - would cut the spices in half because it was too spicy. Otherwise, amazing!

Made with sausage instead of shrimp and it was great. Next time I’ll cook it more like fried rice though.

A hit with the hubby and teens!!! Definitely adding to the rotation. I used beef broth because that's all I had, and medium shrimp. Was sooo good!

Super easy, very quick

This was pretty good. I only added half the amount of spice for my kids. I feel like it needs sausage and/or a vegetable. I cooked the shrimp separately and added them in so it was all done at the same time.

This was SOOO good, will definitely become a staple in my home. next time I think we're gonna add some blackened corn, some sausage, and saute the shrimp before adding it to the rice. a little more spicy then I expected, but VERY GOOD.l, and super easy to make
