Slow Cooker Cream Cheese Crack Chicken Chili

This was so good. Definitely comes out with a lot of liquid so if you're looking for more a stew consistency you can add extra chicken or less broth. I added extra chicken. Also very good served over rice. It's not spicy at all so if that's what you're going for you may want to increase the seasoning. I was happy with it as is but I can definitely see how some might prefer a little more zing.

Pretty flavorless on its own. Very weird texture. Not super appetizing. Needed to give it a Cajun seasoning shower for it to get any flavor.

Very tasty dish! Mine came out a bit chicken heavy, but very delicious. Definitely a go too! Things I did different than recipe: * Seasoned following the instructions, but then seasoned to my personal preference. What I’ll do different next time: * Add 1 more can of Rotel tomatoes/chillies. * 1-2 more cans of black beans * 1-2 cups more of chicken broth

It was ok.. Seemed to be missing something that I just couldn't figure out. Spice was mild, more soup than chilli.

Delicious! Will definitely make again. Prep takes longer than the stated time if you are cooking the bacon though.

Made with chicken thighs and without bacon. We had to add a little extra cheddar cheese to get it to thicken up.

So here are my thoughts and what I did to make (my intention was going to b making 12 servings lol only bcuz when I purchase my chicken they don’t have “just 2”) but, changed my mind I thought if I made for 8 servings used the ingredients for this size (few modifications) it wouldn’t b as “soupy” as I previously read about) O and added 15.5 oz of can black beans Pretty much followed the recipe EXCEPT…(by accident) bought creamed corn (15 oz can)& 2 cans of the diced tomatoes n peppers Pretty much followed the recipe EXCEPT…(by accident) bought creamed corn (15 oz can) and used it , yes, including the cream it had corn starch so I figured it would “thicken up” which it did! 3 chicken breasts, a heaping tablespoon of chili powder, and 3/4 of a tablespoon (wasn’t sure if it would b too much, prob next time will use 1 tablespoon) of Adobo seasoning and just shy of a 1.5 cups of broth (used low sodium), and just the 8 oz of whipped cream cheese) It definitely had that “after” kick and if the manchild likes it who am I to judge.. he definitely has a spicier palette than myself ..lol Each bowl was filled w chicken and very hearty and would work again on a winter evening The shredded cheese..meh.. to b honest really didn’t need So in conclusion, would o make again..yes Wanna try the modifications, b my guest! This was pretty good, I didn’t have bacon or cheddar cheese so I just added a little Monterey Jack cheese, super easy just like I like it

I turned this into an Instant Pot dump and go. Threw all ingredients in the pot in the morning (expect the corn & cheese which I added just before serving ), high pressure for 5 minutes… NPR. Served with rice

Threw in a little spinach that needed to get used for color, added a little oregano (and Cayenne to individual bowls as my hubby and I have some sinus crud right now) and it turned out great

Since some notes said it was bland I added a little more chili powder that gave it a nice kick and then for leftovers I added rice into it to make it a little different of a meal the 2nd time eating it. Acting almost like a casserole.

Added a little twist subbed the chicken with moose meat

We make this weekly without the chicken broth so it's thick like a chili. Love this.

I threw in jalapenos and some seeds and it was still bland. Maybe a few packs of the ranch would be good. I also added a ton of hot sauce because I like spicy...so I would say double up on the spices but overall really good. Also it was a bit watery so I added some cornstarch slurry and it thickened up well.

It was good I added salt and pepper it was a little bland. Also it was more a soup than a chili so I made rice and added it.

Made in an instant pot and it turned out pretty good. A little more watery than I'd like, but adding rice or strips of tortillas took care of that.

This time we made it on the stovetop and without the bacon. Cooked the chicken in a cast iron skillet with a little olive oil, let it rest while I combined the soup ingredients in a Dutch oven, and added the chicken in. It turned out delicious and we didn't miss the bacon at all. Served with tortilla chips.

Absolutely phenomenal. Goes well with bread or as a tortilla chip dip!

So good! I left out the bacon and ranch dressing and did half of the shredded cheddar as a garnish on top. Great to feed the family with some leftover for someone's lunch the next day.

We love this! I wait until after the chicken is cooked to add room temp cream cheese.

As the name states, it is quite addictive.. Taking elements from this and adding to other chili makes a delicious meal too. Added the cream cheese, cheese, and ranch seasoning to a more traditional chili along with beer rather than broth and it was amazing. I will see about adding that recipe on here.

I’m not sure what I was expecting but it was so much better than I had expected!
