Ingredients

2puff pastry sheets
1 lbground meat
5 tablespoonsolive oil
1 stalkcelery
finely chopped
1carrot
medium, finely chopped
1potato
small, finely chopped
1onion
small, finely chopped
2garlic cloves
minced
1rosemary stick
1 tablespooncumin
1 teaspoonchili powder
1 teaspoongarlic powder
¼ teaspoonblack pepper
¾ tablespoonsalt
½ cuptriple cheese
shredded, or cheese of choice
1egg
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F
Step 2
In a medium size pan, add 5 tablespoons of olive oil, or oil of choice, on medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion, celery, potato, carrot and rosemary stick. Sauté for about 5 minutes, or until the veggies are slightly cooked.
Step 3
In a bowl, add the minced meat, the cooked veggies, garlic, cumin, chili, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and half of an egg, and mix well.
Step 4
On a clean counter top, roll out the puff pastry so that it is about the size of a small kitchen towel. Place half of the meat mixture onto one side of the pastry and mold into a block.
Step 5
Brush the remaining egg wash on the sides of the puff pastry. Begin rolling all the way. Tuck in the sides of the pastry and pinch in. Brush the top of the roll with egg wash. This recipes makes 2 puff pastry rolls.
Step 6
Bake for 1 hour. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
