Instructions
Step 1
First, cut holes into a piece of parchment paper and line your air fryer with the paper so it fits just around the bottom of the basket.
Step 2
Next add ⅓ cup maple syrup or honey, ⅓ cup olive oil, ⅓ cup nut butter and 3 tbs brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Add in 2 ½ cups rolled oats, ½ tsp salt, ⅓ cup almonds, and cashews. Toss until all dry ingredients are full mixed in and coated with the wet mixture.
Step 3
Spread mixture evenly into the basket and set your air fryer at 320. Fry for 8 minutes.
Step 4
After 8 minutes is up, add in 2 tbsps cup chia seeds and ⅓ cup shredded coconut if you like. These are added at this time to prevent them from burning. Toss the mixture and spread out evenly in the basket.
Step 5
Air fry the granola for another 8 minutes until golden. Toss the granola thoroughly and air fry one last time for 3-5 more minutes.
Step 6
Allow to cool for 15 minutes stirring occasionally. This is important as it will crisp up the granola.
Step 7
Enjoy immediately! I love to sprinkle this granola over yogurt and honey, in my overnight oats, or for dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
