or jalapeno, split lengthwise

½ tspturmeric powder

2 tspSri Lankan curry powder

½ tspground cardamom

½ tspground cumin

I prefer freshly ground black pepper

¾ Tbspcayenne pepper
or kashmiri chili powder

1 stickcinnamon

1 tsptamarind concentrate
more if you’re using regular tamarind paste

2 cupscoconut milk
preferably full fat coconut milk
