Scones

If I had to estimate how many scones I have baked in my lifetime, I would guess that it would be well into the thousands. I love to give scones as gifts during the holidays packaged with a jar of fresh preserves from the local farmers market or some homemade lemon curd. My personal favorite, almond scones with lemon curd! Sometimes I add fresh seasonal fruit, such as blueberries and strawberries, and for special occasions like Valentine's Day I use my heart shaped cutters to make scones that say "I love you" in every bite.
