Unstuffed Cabbage Roll

I made it as is and decided it needed some more garlic and salt. That could be a preference, though. We also added some dried cilantro, which made it better. My husband loved it, and one out of 2 boys liked it.

Used 2 bags of coleslaw mix instead of a head of cabbage. 16oz can of tomato sauce. No water. Everything else the same. Served over rice.

Add 1/2 cup brown rice and 1 cup more liquid. Use beef broth instead of water for more flavor. I also added 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp regular paprika, 1 TBSP Italian seasoning, and 2 tsp sugar. Added Worcestershire sauce this last time also.
