Vinegar Coleslaw Recipe (No Mayo Coleslaw)

Do not put in the full amount of celery seed. It was wat to overwhelming.

Out of celery seed- did 1/2 tsp caraway and 1/2 tsp fennel

Easy and tasty. I added a little more honey and a squirt of Mayo to emulsify the dressing but not enough to make it creamy and obviously Mayo-y

Use about 1/2 to 1/3 of the stated amount for celery seed. It left too much of a celery after taste.

This is another easy dish to pull together in minutes. I use Trader Joe’s shredded cabbage. I forgot the onion this time. No matter. Instead of honey, I throw in some dried cranberries. Also just before I serve it I can throw in a generous handful of nuts (walnuts, pecans or pepitas to give it extra crunch and interest.

I make this very frequently every summer. It's great with BBQ! I like to use half green and half red cabbage, and I usually add some thinly sliced jalapenos.

Was pretty good! Definitely added a little more honey.
