Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Ugly picture but it was delicious with just the right amount of heat. I halved the recipe with a few changes in terms of quantity (plus I didn't use celery) but it turned out great. Looking forward to leftovers. The most tedious part was chopping the veggies. I chucked mine in the slow cooker (after browning the meat) for several hours. Also used Guinness.

This recipe is our entire family's favorite! I've made this 4+ times now. The only thing we do differently is sub for fresh jalapeños and bacon!

Yummy. My new go to chili. I might split it in half and add a habenero to one half fora little extra heat.

Less sugar

I love this chili! If we don't finish it(and that's a huge if!), we freeze & usually pull out to make chili dogs!

Been making this for years. I use 3# ground beef (we aren't sausage fans) and omit the celery. Serve over baked potatoes or enjoy on its own. Freezes well too.

I added a whole pack of fried bacon instead of bacon bits, only one lb of beef, more spices, used an IPA for the beer, and thickened with flour at the end, then won the people's choice award at the fall fair - sorry Jenny.

Ive made this many times. I dont use the italian sausage but its still fantastic.
