Tablacı salad is a practical salad that is prepared freshly when you order kebab in kebab restaurants, especially in Adana and Southeastern Anatolia. I think there is no one who does not know how sumac suits onions and who does not like sumac onion salads. Sumac goes well with this salad, too. Ground pepper is a touch we are not used to. If you like spice in salads, you can use hot paprika. Tablacı salad reminds me a bit of gavurdağ salad recipe because of its pomegranate syrup, but they are also quite different due to the chopping size of the ingredients and the dominant taste of walnuts in the gavurdağ salad. The main ingredients of Tablacı salad are onions, parsley and tomatoes. If you are not an onion connoisseur, almost any onion you buy from the supermarket or farmer's market will do its job. So does parsley. But when it comes to tomatoes, things change. The flavor of the tomato and, of course, the tastelessness directly affects the success of the salad. Not only the taste, but of course the consistency is also very important. It would be over-optimistic to expect a good result from a tomato that makes mute noises like an apple when cutting it. Soft, juicy, thin-skinned summer tomatoes are the tomatoes that will give the best results in this salad. The color, shape, type of tomato is not important. The important thing is to have these features. As I mentioned at the beginning, one of the most important features of Tablacı salad is that it is served fresh as soon as it is prepared. Even if you are making it at home, I recommend that you pay attention to this and serve the salad immediately after preparing it. Enjoy the recipe... Ingredients: 1 onion, 1 handful of parsley, 1 large tomato, 1 teaspoon of sumac, 1 teaspoon of paprika, Salt, Olive oil, Pomegranate syrup.
