Turkish Tomato and Onion Salad

Ingredients
4 servings

2tomatoes
large, halved and cut in 8 - 10 wedges per half

0.5red onion
thinly sliced

½ cupflat leaf parsley
roughly chopped

1juice of lemon
1 tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoonground sumac

salt
to season

pepper
to season
Instructions
Step 1
Mix lemon juice, olive oil, and sumac in a large bowl
Step 2
Add the onion slices to dressing and sit for about 5-7 minutes allowing the onions to soften in the dressing.
Step 3
Cut tomatoes into wedges and parsley, toss it all together to combine.
Step 4
Season with salt and pepper to taste
