5 tablespoonsolive oil
2eggs
beaten
3 tablespoonscornstarch
10 tablespoonsflour
½ teaspoonsalt
½ teaspoonpepper
½ teaspoongarlic powder
2 teaspoonspaprika
3chicken breast fillets
chopped into bite size chunks
2cloves garlic
peeled and minced
1 tablespoonChinese rice vinegar
2 tablespoonshoney
2 tablespoonssweet chili sauce
3 tablespoonsketchup
2 tablespoonsbrown sugar
4 tablespoonssoy sauce
Instructions
Step 1
For the sauce, mix all ingredients well and set them aside.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan until very hot.
Step 3
Meanwhile, place the egg in one bowl and the corn flour in another bowl. Add the flour, salt, pepper, garlic and paprika to another bowl and mix together.
Step 4
After that, coat the chicken in the corn flour very well, then add the eggs (make sure all of the chicken is covered in egg wash), and finally add in the seasoned flour and mix well. Remove chicken then place in a separate plate, leave remaining left over egg wash behind.
Step 5
Add chicken to the heated pot and cook on high heat for 6-7 minutes, turning two or three times during cooking, until well browned.
Step 6
Toss in the sauce to coat. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Step 7
Enjoy rice and top with sesame seeds and cilantro.
