Instructions
Step 1
Get the sauce ready by adding the fish sauce, sugar, lime juice, pepper and five spice. Give in a mix and set aside.
Step 2
Heat about a tbsp of cooking oil to a wok or pan until smoking hot. Add the chicken and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add the shallots, ginger and garlic paste and lemon grass (if using). Stir fry for a minute. Pour in the sauce and stir fry again for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Serve with the lettuce leaves. To eat spoon a couple of spoonfuls of laab on the lettuce leaf roll and enjoy. 😋
