Instant Pot Chicken Fried Rice

We like it with a bit more soy sauce, but it was worth it. So glad we grill chicken ahead and freeze it as it was super easy.

Rice was a bit mushy, but tasted great! Used 1 can of chicken broth and 1 package of pre-cooked frozen veggies. Added dark soy sauce for color and Shaoxing wine for taste.

One of my favorite recipes! So quick and yummy! I made it with hamburger and used coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. Leave out the peas as well and it’s completely Low FODMAP!

Last time it was perfect, this time, the rice turned to mush. Will try again though!

This was a hit with the family! My sister said she wished I had made double and I think everyone has second helpings. I didn't have chicken so I used ground beef, and altered the stock to beef to match. In order the make it Low FODMAP for my sister I : omitted the peas. Used garlic infused oil instead of garlic. And coconut amino instead of soy sauce. Et voila! It was quick and easy and very flavorful.

I added beef and shrimp to make this more like a house rice and increased the amount of broth to 2 cups. -Taste was borderline bland; however, adding Accent (MSG) made a difference. -Although I did rinse the rice until clear, it still turned out sticky, which my father loved, but I did not care for-though it had no impact on flavor.

It was good but it was bland to me, definitely not bad for something quick and easy. Would recommend doing the first 2 steps in a pan that’s not the instant pot so you don’t have to scrape the bottom of the pot before adding everything

I have some orange chicken on top (street kitchen meal kit from Walmart). I added about 1/3 of a cup of onions to the pot with oil before the garlic, cooked those for a couple minutes. I also used normal long grain white rice, it does end up a tad mushier if you try stiring with a spatula but I still have my rice spoon which worked well! I used frozen carrots and peas so added them at the time it states in recipe for peas. I really like it and will make again! Super easy!

Surprised how good this was! No, it’s not carry out good, but I don’t have a wok or big stainless steel skillet to make carry out quality, and this comes close, flavor wise. I sautéed diced ham first, removed that, and then followed the recipe. Used frozen carrots and pea mix. Added the ham back in with the scrambled egg at the end.

Really enjoyed it.

Used smoked sausage instead of chicken. Was soooo tasty
