High Protein Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls
High Protein Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls (No yeast!) 🍌✨
Recipe:
210g Flour- I use a higher protein flour from
but sub with AP or bread flour
40g Protein Powder- I use
vanilla buttercream (DC amb-eliyaeats)
2 tsp baking powder
20-30g granulated sweetener- I use
zero cal
130-150g yogurt- I use
vanilla
1x banana mashed
1 tsp vanilla
Cinnamon Filling:
25g light butter - I use
30-40g granulated sweetener- I use a zero cal natural sweetener
2-3 tsp cinnamon
Peanut Butter Drizzle:
15g peanut butter powder- I use the powdered Pb from
15g icing sugar- I use monkfruit
1-2 tbsp milk- I use soy
1. Pre-heat oven to 180c
2. Mix all the cinnamon roll ingredients in a medium bowl, once well combined, knead for 1-3 minutes
3. Cover the dough and let rest for 5-10 minutes
4. Roll out into a large rectangle and spread the cinnamon sugar filling evenly over the dough
5. Cut into 7-8 strips and roll out into cinnamon rolls, flatten slightly
6. Bake for 22-25 mins
7. Top with the peanut drizzle/frosting and extra chopped peanuts (optional)
8. Let cool for 5-10 minutes and enjoy
