Ingredients

For Grinding Masala

1 tbl spoonOil

20Shallots

15 podsGarlic

2 tspCoriander Seeds

½ tspCumin seeds

½ tspFennel Seeds

3Dry red chilli

2cinnamon stick

3cloves

2 tbl spoonPepper

Instructions
Step 1
1. Add all the ingredients mentioned for making the masala in a pan… Sauté in medium flame for 3min.
Step 2
Cool it and grind it to a fine paste using the mixer
Step 3
In a pressure cooker, add 2 tbl spoon oil, to it add the finely sliced onion, curry leaves and sauté it until the onion turns translucent.
Step 4
Now add the cut tomato and sauté until the tomato’s are cooked well. To this add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté it until the raw smell of ginger and garlic goes.
Step 5
Now add 1/2kg mutton, 1/2tsp turmeric powder and salt… Cook for 3min under medium flame..
Step 6
Now add the ground masala paste and water as required.
Step 7
Now close the pressure cooker and let it cook until 4-5 whistles. Once it’s cooker open the cooker, garnish with coriander leaves and serve it with hot rice.
