Step 1
Boil rigatoni pasta according to directions on the box

Brown ground beef over medium high heat. Add onions and all seasonings.

Step 3
Drain grease from meat, add minced garlic, and stir in marinara sauce until heated. Mixture can be kept in skillet for serving, or transferred to a baking dish.

Add cooked pasta and stir well.

Add spoonfuls of room temperature ricotta cheese on top of the mixture and spread evenly. Top with mozzarella cheese and place in oven until cheese melted.
