Instructions

Step 1
In a deep skillet add enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan and heat over medium-high heat. Add cubed chicken breasts and season with Tony's creole seasoning. Cook all the way through and until chicken is browned.

In a separate pot boil water and cook penne pasta until al dente.

Once chicken is done set aside and use the same skillet to melt butter and a Tbsp of oil. Add onion and saute for 5 minutes.

Add bell pepper, garlic, creole seasoning, paprika, basil, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Cook for a few more minutes before adding chicken back into the pot.

Step 5
Add half and half, parmesan, chicken broth, and cream cheese. Stir until combined and let simmer for 7 minutes. (Optional: Add pasta water till desired consistency is reached.)

Drain pasta and stir into sauce.
