Notes: * Octopus Carpaccio: If you can't find octopus carpaccio, you can substitute it with thinly sliced cooked octopus or other seafood such as smoked salmon or shrimp. * Toasted Bread: While ciabatta bread is recommended for its crusty texture, you can use any bread of your choice, like baguette or sourdough, for this recipe. * Herbed Garlic Butter: The herbed garlic butter adds a delicious and aromatic flavour to the dish. Feel free to experiment with other herbs like parsley, basil, or dill to customise the taste according to your preference. * Adjusting Spice Level: The bird's eye chilli provides a spicy kick to the dish. If you prefer less spice, you can reduce the amount or omit it altogether. * Serving Suggestions: This toast makes for a delightful appetiser, brunch item, or light meal. Pair it with a fresh salad or enjoy it alongside a bowl of soup for a satisfying combination. * Make-Ahead Option: If you want to make the garlic butter ahead of time, you can store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Alternatively, you can freeze the garlic butter in a freezer-safe container or wrapped in plastic wrap for longer storage. It will stay good in the freezer for up to a month. Just make sure to thaw it in the refrigerator before using. It's a convenient option for quick assembly when you're ready to enjoy the toast. * Garlic Bulb Roasting Options: If you don't have a mini cocotte, wrapping the garlic bulb tightly in aluminium foil before baking will yield similar results. Ensure it is properly sealed to trap the flavours and moisture. * Personalisation: Feel free to add extra toppings like cherry tomatoes, micro greens, or a drizzle of balsamic glaze to enhance the presentation and taste of the dish. Let your creativity shine! * Dietary Modifications: This recipe can be easily adapted for vegetarians by omitting the octopus carpaccio and adding more veggies like roasted bell peppers or grilled zucchini. * Enjoying Leftovers: If you have any leftover herbed garlic butter, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It can be used as a spread for sandwiches, melted over roasted vegetables, or added to pasta dishes for an extra burst of flavour.
