Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Step 2
Grease 10 inch cast iron skillet, set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar.
Step 4
Add cubed butter and cut in with pastry cutter or two knives until mixture is crumbly with pea size pieces of butter.
Step 5
Pour in buttermilk and mix till combined, don't overmix.
Step 6
Scoop out large 1/2 cup scoops into cast iron skillet and sprinkle with the crumb topping mixture of cinnamon and sugar and brush with buttermilk or cream.
Step 7
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown on top.
Step 8
Serve with butter and honey and enjoy.
