Warm up a couple of spoon of olive oil in a pan and ease down both the onions and the yellow pepper. Stir, and after a couple of minutes, pour the white wine into the pan. Wait until the alcohol is evaporated, and then add some salt and basil. Stir again and cover the pan with a lid. It is going to take about fifteen minutes to make the yellow pepper soft.

Prepare the pasta. Cook it in salty boiling water as long as indicated on the box. For this dish, it might be better to choose a short type of pasta.

Step 5
Move the yellow pepper from the pan into a food processor. Put also some more basil into the food processor, a spoon of olive oil, and one of water that you can take from the pasta pot. Mix a make a liquid cream. It is going to get more dense.

In the same pan, you cooked the pepper and ease down the italian sausage. You can crumble the sausage before putting it into the pan or breaking it into pieces while cooking it. Cook the sausage until it is a little crispy, take it out of the pan, and keep it aside.

Put the yellow pepper back into the pan and keep the heat low until the pasta is ready.

When the pasta is ready, strain it and put it in the pan with yellow pepper sauce. Add the sausage, too. Increase the heat and stir the pasta for a couple of minutes so the sauce can become more dense.
