Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 and line cupcake tins with liners.
Step 2
Whisk together melted (slightly cooled) butter, milk, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla, and sugar until combined.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 4
Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mix, using a spatula to fold the batter together until just combined.
Step 5
Gently fold in chocolate chips.
Step 6
Using a spoon or scooper, fill the liners with batter. Optional: place extra chocolate chips on top before baking for a little decoration!
Step 7
Bake at 400 for 12 minutes, then reduce the heat to 375 and bake for another 10 minutes. (do not open the oven when switching temperatures!!!)
Step 8
Let cool for 20 minutes and enjoy!
