Instructions
Step 1
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees
Pre-heat and oven-safe frying plan to med or med-high heat on the hob.
Step 2
Rinse and pat dry both pork chops
Step 3
Season both sides of the pork with salt and pepper
Step 4
Smash your garlic cloves with the side of your knife and cut your lemon in half
Step 5
Once your frying pan is heated, add the olive oil.
Step 6
Once the oil is heated (in a couple of seconds) place the 2 garlic cloves in the pan, carefully separated by a few inches
Step 7
Place each pork chop top of a garlic clove and allow it to sear for 2 - 3 minutes
Step 8
Flip the chops and sear for an additional 2 - 3 minutes
Step 9
Squeeze 1/2 lemon over the chops
Step 10
Place the pan in the oven for about 10 minutes at 160 degrees
Step 11
Let the chops rest for 3 minutes before serving
