Instructions
Step 1
Wash the mushrooms. Separate stems from the caps and chop the stems and 12 of the caps.
Step 2
Saute the whole mushroom caps in 1 ounce of butter until partially cooked but still firm.
Step 3
Add the remaining butte to the pan. Saute the onion and chopped mushroom stems and caps until dry.
Step 4
Add the flour and cook for 1 minute. add the cream; bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Add the ham and parsley, season to taste with the salt and pepper, stir to combine. Remove from the pan and cool slightly.
Step 6
Stuff the mushroom caps with the ham mixture and sprinkle with the swiss cheese.
Step 7
Bake the stuffed mushrooms at 350 degrees until hot - approximately 10-15 minutes
