Instructions

Step 1
Melt the butter in a small saucepan, then add milk, let it become warm too. Pour it into a bowl or mixer.

Add the yeast and let it dissolve. Add sugar, egg, cardamom and salt.

Step 3
Add flour, bit by bit and knead the dough for 7-8 minutes on low speed. Let the dough gather itself, so it doesn’t stick to your fingers, but still a but sticky. Add the raisins and knead for 0,5-1 minute more, until they are incorporated in the dough, and it doesn’t stick to the edges of the bowl.

Step 4
Let the dough rise for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size, at room temperature.
Step 5
Divide the dough into 12 pieces, and shape the buns. Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Let them rise again for 30 min, at room temperature.
Step 6
Brush the buns with a whisked egg. Bake them at 220 celcius hot air (fan oven), for 10-12 minutes.
