Chicken Pesto Pasta

Instructions

Step 1
Season the chicken with salt and pepper to taste. Cook the chicken in a large skillet over medium to medium high heat until golden brown and cooked through. Halfway through cooking the chicken, add in the tomatoes. When they start to burst smash them with a fork.
Step 2
Meanwhile cook the pasta in salted water, reserve some of the pasta water for the sauce.
Step 3
Combine the cooked pasta, chicken, tomatoes and pesto sauce. Add in sone of the herbed oil from the cheese to taste. Add pasta water if the sauce is too thick. Mix well, stir in the mozzarella cheese balls.
