Instructions
Step 1
Cook the rice in a rice cooker. Add a piece of kombu if you have it. Otherwise can put some dashi in the water
Step 2
Mix the sugar, rice vinegar, and salt in a small measuring cup. Heat in microwave for 30s, then stir to combine
Step 3
Pour over the rice and fluff thoroughly. Let rice cool before using in sushi
