Chinese Beef and Tomato Stir-Fry

Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, and white pepper.
Step 2
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
Step 3
Add minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4
Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until it's no longer pink. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 5
In the same skillet, add the carrot slices and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
Step 6
Add the tomato wedges and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
Step 7
Return the cooked beef to the skillet, and pour the sauce over everything.
Step 8
Stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.
Step 9
Garnish with green onions if desired.
Step 10
Serve the beef and tomato stir-fry over cooked brown rice.
