Ingredients
4 servings
Sauce

½ cuplow sodium soy sauce
or use gf soy sauce

1 cupchicken broth

2 tablespooncornstarch

¼ cupmirin

2 tablespoonsugar

4 teaspoonssesame oil

½ teaspoonwhite pepper

Instructions
Step 1
In a large measuring cup or small bowl add the soy sauce, chicken broth, cornstarch, mirin, sugar, sesame oil and white pepper and whisk until everything is completely dissolved.







Step 2
In a large skillet, add one teaspoon canola oil on medium/high heat and cook the chicken until just cooked through, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Cook in batches, if needed.


Step 3
Remove the chicken to a plate.
Step 4
Add in the remaining canola oil, garlic and ginger and cook for 30-45 seconds until very fragrant but not browned.



Step 5
Stir the garlic and ginger well and add in the sauce, whisking well.
Step 6
Add in the broccoli and let the sauce cook for 2-3 minutes until thickened.

Step 7
Add in the cooked chicken and stir well to coat.
Step 8
Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
