Ingredients
4 servings
1 handfulrigatoni pasta
per person
400gmushrooms
1onion
2chicken breasts
1garlic bulb
100mlwhite wine
75mldouble cream
1 tspgolden syrup
Herbs - blended if you're feeling fancy
Instructions
Step 1
Put the butter or oil into the pan and melt on medium heat.
Step 2
Slice the mushrooms and dice the onion, Then add to pan.
Step 3
Dice the chicken ready to put in.
Step 4
Start the pasta boiling and add a dash of white wine.
Step 5
Once the onion is starting to cook add the chicken.
Step 6
Crush the garlic and add to pan, you can also put a bit of golden syrup in at this point. Cook until the chicken is white all the way through. DONT BOIL ALL OF THE LIQUID OFF!
Step 7
Add a bit of pasta water to the frying pan, not much.
Step 8
Add the cream, and stir through.
Step 9
Add white wine and chicken or vegetable stock.
Step 10
add the herbs, let it boil and thicken to preference.
