Instructions
Step 1
Pat steaks dry then season with salt and pepper
Step 2
Olive oil on pan, medium heat
Step 3
Sear steaks until browned on both sides
Step 4
Add 1/2tsp garlic, thyme, soy sauce, and olive oil to the pan. Place on pan away from steak to roast garlic a little.
Step 5
Small cuts in steak, set pan to medium/low, cover for 3 minutes. Every once in a while, tilt pan and spoon juices onto steaks.
Step 6
Remove steak from pan and plate.
Step 7
Add lemon juice to juices in pan and heat on high for 2 min, pour on steaks
