Instructions
Step 1
1). Zest the lemon, set aside. Slice the onion and garlic. Cut the tomatoes in half. Juice the lemon and combine with the wine, chicken stock, & water.

2). Heat the Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the 1/4 cup olive oil, once hot, add the onion. Cook until fragrant and begins to turn translucent, about 2 minutes.

3). Add the garlic & Italian seasoning, stir and cook for 30 seconds.

4). Add the tomatoes, 2 oz butter, salt and pepper to taste. Stir until the tomatoes soften- about 2 minutes.
Step 5
5). Add the pasta, lemon juice, wine, chicken stock, and water. Bring the liquid to a boil over high heat. Cook and stir frequently until the pasta is tender and most of the water is evaporated, keeping a small amount for the sauce- roughly 15-20 minutes. Add more water if needed, 1/2 cup at a time for softer pasta. Turn off the heat.

6). While the pasta is cooking, rough chop the parsley & basil. Add the parsley, basil, lemon zest, Parmesan cheese, and 2 oz of butter- stir to combine.

7). Drizzle with olive oil, add salt, pepper, and cheese if desired.
