Instructions

Step 1
Salt a large pot of water and bring it to a boil.
Step 2
Add the rigatoni and cook according to package directions. Drain when finished.
Step 3
In a large pan heat the oil over medium heat. Add the carrot and onion and cook 3-4 minutes, add the garlic and beef. Break up the meat with a spoon and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add the wine and cook 1 minute. Add in the seasoning, sugar, tomato paste, and tomato puree. Simmer 8-10 minutes. Stir in the parmesan cheese and serve over the rigatoni.
