Instructions
Step 1
Finely dice the onion & sauté with a pinch of salt in 1tbsp of olive oil until softened.
Step 2
Mince the garlic + add, frying until fragrant.
Step 3
Add the harissa + tomato puree, then cook out for a couple of minutes.
Step 4
Add the oregano + paprika, then mix well.
Step 5
Add the beans with their liquid, along with the miso paste - season to taste with salt + pepper.
Step 6
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Slice the bread into thick pieces, then get some oil in a hot pan. Grill on both sides until golden.
Step 8
Rub garlic into the bread, then spoon over the harissa butter beans.
Step 9
Top with fresh basil / chives, a crack of black pepper & a swirl of extra virgin olive oil.
