Instructions
Step 1
Add water and sugar and cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves, whisking often

Add butter and whisk until the butter is melted

Bring your sauce to a boil, and continue boiling for 10 minutes over medium-low heat - whisking occassionally
Step 4
Once the sauce starts to pull away from the pot, whisk in the heavy cream and sea salt until smooth, then boil again for 1-2 minutes

Remove the pan from the heat and whish in the vanilla extract

Pour caramel dip into glass jar or dish and let cool completely before serving (mixture will thicken as it cools)
