For the meat
1 poundlean ground beef
½ cupbread crumbs
¼ cupgrated parmesan cheese
¼ cupmilk
1egg
1 teaspoonworcestershire sauce
½ teaspoongarlic powder
¼ teaspoononion powder
¼ teaspoonsalt
¼ teaspoonblack pepper
For the gravy
Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Step 2
Form the meat mixture into 8 thin patties.
Step 3
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned.
Step 4
Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
Step 5
Add the onion and mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until softened.
Step 6
Sprinkle the flour over the onion and mushroom mixture and stir to coat.

Gradually whisk in the beef broth until smooth.
Step 8
Bring the gravy to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, or until thickened.

Stir in the ketchup and mustard and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Return the patties to the skillet and simmer in the gravy for 5-7 minutes, or until cooked through.
