Step 1
Preheat the oven to 160°C (Fan)

Slice your baguette into diagonal, even slices around 1-2 inches thick (depending on preference)

Cover a baking tray with tin foil (optional - this is for easier cleaning) and place the slices evenly on the tray

Generously drizzle the oil over the slices of bread

Place the baking tray into the oven until the slices are slightly toasted and golden (do not overcook the bread in this step)

Whilst the slices are toasting, place your butter and garlic paste into a pan on medium heat until melted and mix well

Once melted, add the mixed herbs / parsley and mix well. Then take off the heat and remember to take your now toasted bread slices out of the oven.

Using a spoon (or preferred utensil) to evenly pour the garlic butter onto the slices. (If you find you don't have enough, you can melt a little more as needed)

Cover the slices with your preferred amount of grated cheese and then place these into the oven until the cheese is fully melted and golden (to your liking).
