Instructions
Step 1
Start boiling pasta water, salt.
Step 2
Season chicken breasts with kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper. Add a couple of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to skillet. When the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts; turn after about 3 minutes for an additional 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, cook 1 minute. Add basil, cold butter, garlic, shallot, salt, and pepper. Once chicken is cooked through, turn heat to low and keep warm.
Step 3
While chicken and sauce is cooking, cook pasta according to package directions.
Step 4
Once everything is done, slice chicken and serve with pasta.
