Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, add chicken pieces, salt, red chili powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and milk. Mix everything together, cover, and leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2
While chicken marinates, make your flour mixture by combining flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, red chili powder, onion powder, and baking powder to a container or bowl. Add 2 heaping tbsps of the flour mixture to the chicken bowl and combine.
Step 3
Add the whole chicken mixture with marinade to the flour and combine until fully coated. Shake off any excess flour before frying.
Step 4
In a large pan, heat up oil, and let chicken deep fry at medium high heat for 3 minutes. Stir, and continue to fry. Chicken should be frying for around 6-7 minutes total. Fry in batches as to not overcrowd. You can also double fry them if you like it extra crispy. Once cooked, remove chicken and leave to drain on paper towel.
Step 5
To a sauce pan, add oil and garlic and sauté on medium low for about 30 seconds, until fragrant. Add remaining sauce ingredients, and let cook for about 1 minute on medium low. You can also add more sugar if you like a sweeter sauce.
Step 6
Add chicken to a bowl and pour sauce over top. Combine, and sprinkle with sesame seeds to serve.
