I love split pea soup and this one sounds delish.
recipe is for an 8 qt instant pot with a stove top method included

Ingredients

1 Tbsplight olive oil
½ tspkosher salt
1yellow onions
extra large, or 2 medium, diced
10 clovesgarlic
roughly chopped
8 cupsvegetables
cubed, approx 1/2" cubes
3 cupssplit peas
rinsed well
6 cupschicken stock
2 cupswater
1smoked turkey leg
in a cheesecloth soup bag
3bay leaves
1 tspdried thyme
¼ cupdry white wine

Instructions
Step 1
heat insert
Step 2
add vegetables
Step 3
add remaining ingredients. (let come down from pressure naturally at end of cooking)
Step 4
remove bag of fresh herbs (if used) and discard
Step 5
remove turkey leg, let cool to handle, shread meat and return to pot
Step 6
season to taste with salt and pepper
stove top method
Step 7
heat over medium heat
Step 8
add vegetables
Step 9
remove from heat to add rest of ingredients plus an additional cup of water. simmer 2-3 hours until the peas soften and dissolve
Step 10
finish same as instant pot method
