Ingredients

1 cupyellow onion
diced
6 clovesgarlic

0.5 lbground italian sausage
0.5 lblean ground beef
2 Tbsptomato paste
salt
pepper
1 tspseasoning
1 tspdried basil
1 tspdried parsley
1 tspdried oregano
1 tspitalian seasoning
½ tspred pepper flakes
24 ozmarinara
½ cupheavy cream
6 cupschicken broth
0.5 lblasagna noodles
broken into pieces
fresh basil
1 cupparmesan
1 cupricotta
1 cupmozzarella
¼ cupfresh parsley
Instructions
Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine parmesan, ricotta, mozzarella, parsley, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Step 2
In a large soup pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add in onion, and a pinch of salt. Cook 4 minutes. Add garlic and cook about 30 seconds.
Step 3
Add in sausage and beef, breaking into pieces with spoon. Cook for a few minutes and then season with salt, pepper, basil, oregano, parsley, italian, red pepper, and tony's. cook until no longer pink
Step 4
Add in tomato paste and stir. Cook for a couple minutes. Add chicken broth and marinara. Bring to a boil.
Step 5
Add lasagna pieces, reduce heat, and summer for about 10 minutes, or until al dente, stirring occasionally.
Step 6
Once the noodles are done, add in heavy cream and fresh basil (torn). Serve and top with a dollop of ricotta mixture.
